Once the vehicle's onboard system no longer detects the issue, most codes will disappear on their own. If your vehicle still has this code, however, it should be properly diagnosed to avoid a more serious problem.

The engine computer (PCM) uses a Vane Control Solenoid (also referred to as a boost control solenoid) to control the amount of boost from the Turbocharger. If the Vane Control Solenoid does not operate as commanded, code P006E will set.
