driving home from work and the oil light came on and I immediately pulled over. The oil had just been changed two weeks and approx. 550 miles previous. I had the car towed to the dealer as it is under warranty and they are trying to say someone put to much oil in it. I know this is not true as I had it done at a family owned business and watched the entire process!

Hello, If it looks like cottage cheese in texture and color, head gasket, cracked head, cracked block are the main three reasons. If it looks like cottage cheese in consistency only, that is sludge or frothing. Frothing would be from overfilling, and sludge from infrequent oil changes or excessively high temperature.
