power mirror on driver side will not retain it's setting passenger side works

Everytime I turn my car on the driver side mirror changes it’s position to be looking really far up or down and the memory setting gets erased. This is only for the drivers side as the passenger mirror and the seat keeps it’s memory and doesn’t change when the car turns on. I had my front brakes replaced a day before this problem began but I can not imagine that had anything to do with this issue.
