Hello, If the temperature gauge is slowly reaching the middle, it could be caused by a few things - but my first thought is that the engine temperature isn't getting warm enough fast enough. This can cause engine performance problems. You'll need a diagnostic tool to perform testing - notably, monitoring engine coolant temperature as read from the temperature sensor. You'll have to determine if this information is even accurate, causing the engine's processor to do certain things for engine performance, besides causing the gauge to slowly rise. As far as stalling, you'll have to find out if you are losing fuel delivery, ignition spark, or have too much or too little air to the intake manifold. Replacing the crankshaft position sensor and mass air flow sensors were quite likely a big waste of money that you could have spent on testing that would give you results instead. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
I should have mentioned that the crankshaft position sensor and mass air flow sensors were replaced quite a while ago, and this took care of some other problems so not a waste of money...
