What is your question?
I’m looking to buy a 2007 Buick lucerene and it has 215k miles. I can tell the car was well taken care of and I know Buicks are reliable but I’m apprehensive about the mileage. The car is priced at a fair price as well.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. The key is maintenance history when it comes to higher-mileage vehicles like a Lucerne with 215k miles. If the previous owner has kept up with regular oil changes, transmission services, and other key maintenance, these cars can sometimes reach 300k miles or more. However, at that mileage, components like the suspension, engine seals, or transmission may be reaching the end of their lifespan. Getting a pre-purchase inspection is important to check for any signs of wear that might indicate upcoming repairs.
