I have to add coolant to my 2016 chevrolet cruze everytime time I drive it. It has leaked out of the area where the thermostat or thermostat assembly on the side of the engine. It is a 1.8L motor. What could cause this problem?

Hello, sounds like you'll need to have a pressure test of your cooling system performed to see if it's a housing that is leaking or a hose. Hands on testing is needed. Do not drive the car again until resolved, as you can cause significant engine damage from overheating.
