I have put three brand new climate control units in my 2005 Chevy suburban and they keep shutting the truck completely down

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It’s not every day you hear about the climate control unit acting like it has a grudge against your Suburban! If the climate control keeps shorting out and shutting down the whole truck, it sounds like there might be an underlying electrical issue, possibly a short or ground problem. It could be due to a wiring harness issue, a blown fuse, or even a faulty relay that’s causing a major draw on the system. You might also want to check the alternator and battery health, as an overworked alternator or weak battery could be contributing to the issue. It’s worth having a detailed inspection done on the wiring to and from the climate control, looking for any damaged, pinched, or frayed wires. Hopefully, this steers you in the right direction and keeps your Suburban from taking any more unscheduled naps!
