What is your question?
Intermittent hard shifting. Has done it since I got it with 26000 miles. It's starting to happen more often. No dealer has a solution due to it being Intermittent and can't catch it. There's a lot on line about this issue, but I haven't seen how to prevent it before I have to replace the transmission.
What makes this problem better or worse?
No pattern to it that I have found
How long has your 2016 Chrysler 200 had this problem?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Hard shifting in your Chrysler 200, especially since it’s been happening for a while, could be tied to the transmission control module (TCM) or software. Chrysler had some known issues with these 9-speed automatics, where a software update or TCM reprogramming could smooth things out. Since it's intermittent, it's tricky for dealers to catch, but a good scan of the system might reveal stored codes that don’t trigger a check engine light. To avoid major transmission damage, I’d push for a software update if it hasn't been done yet.
