My 05 dodge stratus just shut off while I'm going down the road and now want start back up

When I turn the switch to crank it, it hit like it need a jump off but it's not turning over. What is wrong. It gave no warnings that it was messing up.

How long has your 2005 Dodge Stratus had this problem?

It happened out the blue...no warning
