Hello, very important to know which engine you have in this vehicle. 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel? 4.9L 6 cylinder? 5.0L V8? 5.8L V8? 7.5L V8? If it's a gasoline engine, I'd be looking at fuel and air mixture - fuel delivery and air flow. Emissions controls could play a part as well.
