Vibration when accelerating

What is your question?

My car vibrates when I accelerate when it’s just me in the vehicle but when I have a passenger in the vehicle it only vibrates when I go over bumps. I think it is the cv axle joint that goes into the transmission because there is grease around the boot but I’m not sure and I don’t want to buy a new cv axle if I don’t need one
