why do the indicator lights on dash continually flash on and off and the guagem

Hi - I am Dave, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Is this problem happening while the vehicle is operating and being driven normally? If so, I would suspect a low system voltage concern, possibly caused by a battery problem. Possibly a charging system problem. These areas should be checked. If not, this could be a network issue and an instrument cluster issue which requires testing with a Ford IDS diagnostic tool.
