What is your question?
While driving last Friday. Heard a loud pop, which I though was a tire. I attempted to take it back home and heard a squealing and scrubbing noise. When I pulled over the right wheel and part of the axcel had come out. A mechanic friend jacked it up and pushed it back in and recommended getting it towed home. He mentioned a C click possibly broke and there could be some seal and bearing damage, but it would require being taken apart. How much could that cost?
How long has your 1996 GMC C2500 Suburban had this problem?
One week... Haven't moved it since towing it home

Depends on if any damage has been done to the housing. If the housing is damaged beyond repair it would be cheaper to get a junk yard rear end. Only a hands-on inspection can determine the extend of the damage. Here is a link to find a shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
