What is your question?
Battery died while driving today. I was able to be jump started but I couldn’t switch from park to drive. The engine started vibrating and the car died again. We’ve recently replaced the battery, alternator, and starter. One issue that could explain is my brake switch seems to be broken because my brake lights remain on, even with the car off, until I remove the fuse. It took a couple days to discover this so it had time to drain the battery overnight a few times. Could this be it, and a battery replacement will fix it, or does it seem like a battery and/or transmission issue? Thank you.

Hello, your concern seems to be battery and electrical related. If the battery voltage is low and requiring a jump start, it's possible that there's not enough power at from the battery and charging system to allow the engine to function when shifting into Drive -- where idle will be lower, and concurrently, power output from the alternator will also be lower. I would ensure your battery is "good" - fully charge it and then have it tested to see if it can handle a load. If suspect at all, replace it with a known good battery. After you know the battery is good, then you can test the charging system too. If this tests good, and you resolve anything causing a draw that can deplete the battery as it has been happening, then you should be in good shape.
