What is your question?
I haven’t had this issue until recently, and my long commutes have been the same for the last 5 years for my job. I noticed my car is burning more gas than usual. My range and gas gauge are dropping quicker than usual. I’ve monitored my driving habits but nothing seems to help. I even lose a little miles from my range when I’m just parked. No leaks or noises, the only maintenance I haven’t had done is transmission fluid change but my car hasn’t over heated either thus far. No smoke coming out from exhaust

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Why the heck is your Kona so thirsty? If your fuel gauge drops faster than usual, but there’s no smoke, leaks, or warning lights, it could be sneaky culprits like a dirty air filter. a sticking brake caliper causing too much drag or even low tire pressure. Over time, things wear out, and the car has to work harder—kind of like how we all feel after five years on the same commute! If your driving habits haven’t changed, it’s worth getting a maintenance check and letting them know you're having this issue so they can look for any culprits!
