Replaced the clutch pilot bearing the whole nine yards and now when you let out of the clutch it acts like its in gear and dies if you let the clutch out all the way

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I am admittedly confused - you let the clutch out and the engine dies? What gear is your shift lever in? What was the original cause of replacing the clutch and related parts? When you let the clutch out, you're supposed to be engaging transmission gears with moving engine - so as to move the vehicle. If the components are not lining up, stalling occurs. The difficulty I am having in understanding is - I do not know the conditions by which the problem occurs, nor do I know the preexisting issues prior to clutch replacement. I believe it was the throw out bearing or something like that is why it was replaced now it seems like its locked in gear or something cause when you start it then start to let out on the clutch it acts just like its in gear but wont move if you let it all the way out it dies as if you let the clutch out to fast or like you had the emergency brake on or something
