Why won't my heater heat up in my Kia Sportage 1998? Why I turn it on it cold?

When turning on heater all I get is cold air no heat. My temp gauge is running normal. Don't get hot.

Doesn't do when it cold or hot. Won't heat

Have local auto repair shop check for restricted heater core .. Also heat (temperature) control baffel inside heater housing. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops
