What is your question?
Had a front right hand drive axle rebuild/replaced on my 04 Range Rover. Drives and operates very good in drive. After picking it up from the repair shop, I get home to back in my driveway, it doesn't stay engaged in reverse. There are no engine codes or warning lights. When I picked it up prior to this pick up, I had a low power light, ABS brake light and lo/hi range light with select Neutral message before I left the shop. The mechanic made some adjutstments and got the message and lights to go off. This shop originally told me the reverse gear is going out on the tranny. I don't belive that to be true since the reverse was working perfectly when I took it to the shop. I think it has something to do with possibly the axle wasn't put back in the same way it was taken out. I'm thinking it may need adjusting?....so the notches in the axle match up better or correctly with the connecting part in the tranny?
How long has your 2004 Land Rover Range Rover had this problem?
A week

Hello, I'm not seeing a correlation between transmission engagement and an axle replacement. This vehicle is four wheel drive anyway, with the rear axle being driven. Seek a second opinion local to you, perhaps -- https://repairpal.com/repair-shops/land+rover-repair-and-service-in-aurora-colorado
