What is your question?
I have a 2019 GLC 300. This morning the backup camera suddenly didn't work. I then noticed that the steering wheel controls such as volume up/down buttons and voice call (only on the right side of the steering wheel) did not work either. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel do work, and so does the horn.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Are you 100% sure the car isn't haunted? The sudden loss of functionality in specific steering wheel controls and the backup camera in your GLC 300 could indicate a wiring issue or a problem with the steering wheel control module. Since only controls on the right side are affected, it suggests a localized problem. It may also be a fuse or relay that's given up the ghost (see what I did there?). Start by checking the wiring connections behind the steering wheel and inspecting for any visible damage or loose connections. If everything appears intact, the issue may lie with the control module itself. It would require professional diagnosis and potential replacement by a qualified technician at a Mercedes-Benz dealership or reputable auto repair shop.
