when pushing on the accelerator it dies. What needs to be changed?

Hello, it's impossible to say what is needed until performing needed testing. You have an engine performance problem. This is comprised of fuel delivery, ignition spark, air intake, exhaust flow, engine timing and engine compression. You need to find which concern is out of specification to find out why the stalling occurs. My initial gut reaction is that you have too much air and not enough fuel causing a stall. But this is such a big guess. Perform needed testing with proper diagnostic equipment and shop manual reference to figure out what is happening.
