My ML430 2001 everytime you turn on the interior light or any interior light the radio shut-off completely. What is the problem?

How come every time we turn on the interior light - the radio completely shut-off. My CD changer is not working. If you press the CD button. The screen said "No CD" If you turn on the tape button. The screen said "No Tape" what is the problem?
