Have a 2000 Mitsubishi gallant 2.4L. Have a no CEL and no start problem. I will start from the beginning, had my tailpipe crack by the joint where my tailpipe filter is located, got a CEL warning come up plus it sounded awful. Had that repaired. Then started to drive it, no problems until it cut off on me while drliving. Ran a OBD2 scan and got the crankshaft position sensor code. Replaced that and drove it and still cut off. Noticed while I had it idling that the radiator fan never kicked in. Had someone helping me and he was checking relays, while he was wiggling the MFI RELAY to get it out that the radiator fan started up. Engine was shut off and no keys were in ignition and CEL was flickering. Thought that was the problem causing engine to shut off. Replaced 2 relays, tried to start car, would turn over but never started. Went to run another scan and noticed no CEL on with keys in on position and got a communication error from scanner. That is where I am at right now. Thanks
