What is your question?
I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. About a month ago my fan was running slow and after turning the vehicle off and back on it wouldn't blow at all at any speed. You can feel a little coolness or heat seeping out of the fans, but it will not blow out like it should on any of the fan settings. Someone told me to replace the blower motor resistor and I did without luck. I unscrewed the blower motor just enough to still have the hose connected and the chord plugged in, but able to see the fan. I messed around turning the fan on and off and on different speeds and settings. For about 10 seconds I saw the fan spinning but slowly dying down and then off again. Should I get a new blower motor? or could it be another part or a fuse? I've tried to find out which fuse is for the blower motor in the manual provided for the vehicle but have had no success. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you.
How long has your 2001 Nissan Pathfinder had this problem?
A month or so

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. From what you're describing, it sounds like your Pathfinder's blower motor could be the issue, especially since it's struggling to spin and shuts off shortly after starting. The slow dying down of the fan can be a sign that contacts or windings in the motor could be worn. Although it's a good idea to check fuses, they are not likely to be the cause in this case.
