Thrust bearing replacement

It is impossible to guess whether the repair solves the problem, or will be long-term for a solution for the vehicle, unless we know more about the situation. You will never know if he problem can develop down the road regardless of the vehicle and concern. I would definitely say that, since the transmission was not replaced, it is possible that other issues could exist. But it's totally speculation.
