What is your question?
My 2012 Kizashi is dead in a friend's driveway. The service TPMS light has come and gone for some time now so I haven't done anything about it. The problem now is that it just won't start and gives a check TPS and check engine light along with the intermittent TPMS signal. I realize that driving with the TPS light can cause serious damage to the engine but need to move the car out my friend's way ASAP.
How long has your 2012 Suzuki Kizashi had this problem?
never happened before or even had trouble starting

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Ah, the TPS light—it's like a pesky mosquito that just won't quit. If you're talking about the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and not the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), then it could indeed affect starting. A faulty TPS can confuse the engine control unit, making it think the throttle is in a different position than it actually is. However, if your Kizashi is a manual, you can still try push-starting it. Get a couple of friends to help push, turn the ignition to "on," put it in second gear, and pop the clutch once you gain some speed. It's like giving your car a little nudge to wake it up. Just be cautious, as driving with a faulty TPS can lead to other issues.
