rear brake lights get stuck

I had brake work done. Brakes went out. Now the car seems shudder and I let it rest and it works again. The ack brake lights get stuck I am an older lady and treated like I am dumb so, it looks like I will have to find my own answers
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worst after I drive fast
