35,000 on sienna xle- ran great- Filled with gas and rotated wheels. Next day, hard start (like cheap gas)the AWD, TRAC LIGHT ON, rad FANS ON CONSTANT , NO cruise control , all of these things came on at once.
To correct the AWD & TRAC lite being on, NO cruise , rad fan on constant, WELLLLLLLLL the ECT switch next to the thermostat was disconnected. One wire disconnect created so many issues. That would have been a very expensive trip to the Toyota dealer.
The vehicle is still under factory warranty .. There is *no charge* for warranty repair! ... Otherwise I would not have left an answer!
Even though still in the warranty period, the previous owner had made some changes that would not be covered by warranty. I had to make the call to assess the problem and decide who would do the work. The work involved would not have been covered by warranty. My time was less than 1/2 a day, less time than taking to the dealer(plus a few hundred). I do assessments first to minimize the bill.
