Under certain driving conditions, the power steering fluid can become hot enough to melt the fluid reservoir. The melted reservoir may leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

Recall repairs on your Chevrolet must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors began notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in January, 2012. If you have not received a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
