The rear seat belt assembly may not adequately protect the occupant's head, allowing it to contact the D-ring bolt trim cap in an accident. This increases risk of occupant injury. Dealers will install energy absorbing material to the C-Pillar finishers and replace the seat belt bolt and bolt cap free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in September, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. How long it takes to fix a recall depends on many different factors:

How many vehicles are affected by the recall? How complex is the problem to fix? How many different parts are involved in the repair? Are the repair parts available? How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
