The rear brake caliper pistons may not have been properly coated, causing gas to be released into the rear brake hydraulic circuit, reducing brake system performance. Dealers will bleed the rear axle brake system free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your General Motors vehicle must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors will notify known owners of affected vehicles starting in October, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
