19V-807 Recall Summary

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) actuator pump may leak brake fluid on an internal circuit board, causing a short and risk of fire. Dealers will replace the ABS actuator free of charge to resolve the concern. In the interim, if you have an affected vehicle and the ABS warning light remains illuminated for more than ten seconds after engine start up, you are advised to not drive the vehicle and to park it outside away from structures.

Recall repairs on your Nissan or Infiniti must be performed by a Nissan or Infiniti dealership, respectively. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in December, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan or Infiniti dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.

How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
