The front seat belt pretensioners which secure passengers into the seat in the event of a collision that deploys air bags may explode upon deployment. This would spray metal fragments into the vehicle cabin, which may strike occupants and cause severe injury or death.

Recall repairs on your Hyundai must be performed by a Hyundai dealership. Hyundai will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in August, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Hyundai dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
